Additional Benefits of Associative Membership
Some of our more established members are helping to develop sector-specific member groups with the intention of deepening collaboration, referral, and ongoing peer-to-peer training. They are also developing common marketing material, narrative and business development strategies under the ESTA brand, whilst retaining the independence, branding, methodology and ethos of their own individual businesses. This is being done among businesses that have taken the time to get to know, understand and trust one another, which is, in itself, a key requirement of becoming an Associate Member.

- Group marketing opportunities
- Collaboration on projects – leading to new and improved products and services.
- Invitation to make business development presentations
- Development of trusted referral networks
- Opportunities to help develop the ESTA network and take part in business and sector development research
Associate members will tend to be those that are most committed to developing and shaping the ESTA network and helping to fulfil its ambitions, projects and goals. This happens when members realise that there are real and tangible benefits to themselves and their businesses by playing an active part in this process. We do not pre-determine what those benefits will be for the simple reason that you cannot pre-define what will emerge from a highly creative process.
Beyond this, Associate Membership does not confer any special status on the associate members. It is a cardinal rule of the ESTA process that any member can attend any meet-up at any time, whatever its nature of purpose. Rather, in keeping with the ethos of our Fourth Bottom Line, the individual member confers status upon themselves by electing to engage and participate in whatever way they feel is both advantageous to themselves and their business or organisation and to the network and group as a whole.
