Does this Define Our Strategic Direction for the rest of the 21st Century?

Time to share a bit of big picture thinking from the Small Green Consultancy think tank. (on behalf of the ESTA Network) Trying to analyse the two principle pathways before us (a utopian or a dystopian future) in the context of the two biggest external drivers (climate change and the digital revolution) and how these might affect the marketplace for goods and services. I think these various pressures and dynamics are and will continue to impact upon our lives and our businesses and organisations for the next few decades and I believe that their dynamics, and the various responses to these two big pressures, underpins pretty much everything else that is going on in the world at the moment. The question for me is do we respond in a reactive way or a creative way. I would love your comments, feedback and potential alternations to this underlying scenario. Michael

I think it's important to consider both utopian and dystopian possibilities when analyzing future trends.
